Privacy Policy
Last updated August 1, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Queviny collects through queviny.com and the Queviny platform, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than boilerplate.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers queviny.com (this website) and the Queviny product itself. Queviny (Stresemannstr. 8, 66697 Beckingen, Germany) is the data controller for the personal data described below.
2. What we collect
On this website, we collect only what you actively give us: your name and contact details if you fill out the contact form, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated by normal web hosting. We do not run tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics on this website.
Within the Queviny product, account holders provide account and billing information, and the platform processes the contract documents and related metadata an organization uploads or connects for review.
3. How we use it
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Queviny product for the account that submitted the data.
- To meet legal, security, and contractual obligations, including fraud prevention and audit logging.
- To send product or account-related communications — never marketing email without explicit opt-in.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (operating the product for a customer account), legitimate interest (responding to inquiries, securing the service), and consent (where explicitly given, such as opting into marketing email).
5. Contract data processed within the product
Contract documents, playbook configurations, and extracted obligations that an organization's users upload or connect are processed solely to deliver the review, tracking, and risk-detection features of that organization's account. This data is never used to train models shared with other customers, and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Where data is stored
Personal and contract data is stored and processed in EU data centers by default. Any transfer outside the EU is governed by appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection law.
7. Retention
We retain account and contract data for as long as an account remains active. On request, or within 30 days of account closure, data is deleted from production systems; backups are cleared on their standard rotation schedule thereafter.
8. Your rights
If GDPR or a similar regime applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes, and post material changes here before they take effect.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@queviny.com or to our postal address listed on the Contact page.
